A Lesson In Integrity

There is a missions program that was popular for a while, I do not hear much about it any more. It was call “Faith Promise.” The concept was simply this: after prayer and consideration I make a commitment that I will give above and beyond what I know I can give, but what I felt God is leading me to commit to and will trust Him to provide. I can recount to you from personal experience and that of others over the years countless instances of people:
- First spending time in meditation and prayer asking God for guidance in what to commit to give.
- Through the leading of the Holy Spirit determine a specific dollar amount God is leading you to commit to.
- Start giving it, trusting God to provide.
